Promotions

A Promotion allows promotions to be tracked.

Once created, promotions can be used for searching, reporting and analysis.

  • No practical limit to the number of promotions that can be defined
  • Promotion codes are FlexiCode

Special actions available for users with Administrator permissions:

Reference: List, Read-only

This is a list of all available promotions that have been defined. As you click on each of the promotions in the list, the details of that promotion will be shown on the right.

When you want to edit or delete one of the promotions, select the entry in the list and click on the Edit or Delete buttons.

Reference: Text(16), Mandatory, FlexiCode

This is the code given to the promotion and will be used to refer to the promotion in the Sales quotation form and Sales order form.

Reference: Text(64)

This is the name given to the promotion.

Reference: Memo, Expandable

These are general notes relating to the promotion.

Reference: Yes/no

When this field is selected, the relevant promotion will appear in square brackets at the bottom of Promo field lists.

Use this when you're done with a promotion and no longer want it to appear in the main section of the list.
